Information online is very scarce on this. I did purchase the correct LED bulbs that I would like to replace the incandescent blinkers in the rear. I took off the 3 black pop-out bolts to get access to the wire that leads to the tail light. Here, I am stuck (literally). A youtube comment on a video said it was fairly easy if you just "tug" on the tail light. This is not the case. No matter how much pulling force I can apply, they will not just pop out. There seem to be white plastic bolts that hold the tail light in place, but I cannot get these to budge either, even from the inside. Looking for advice on how to do this safely and not to damage or scratch anything. Thanks!

I drive a 2015, assuming its the same design/clip placement, I actually pushed the tail light out by facing away from the driver seat instead of tugging on it from the trunk area

After you remove the two 10mm bolts holding each tail light wear some rubber gloves and pull the light straight back, it should come out easily. The white plastic bolts are clips and dont need to be removed

If I recall, there's a plastic cover next to the taillight. Remove the cover and there will be 2 or 3 bolts. Then you kind of palm the light from the side and pull. I highly HIGHLY recommend using blue painters tape on the edge if the taillight cavity so you don't scratch the paint when you remove taillight. Maybr even tape around the edge of the taillight too. Cuz when you get taillight loose you'll like lose a handle of it.
