Someone reversed into me while I was stationery. Wasn’t a big hit but grille took a knock and I’ve got the pop up hood failure error now.

They willing to pay. I can change the grille myself but what’s involved in fixing the pop up hood failure so the message can be erased?

 

It mean you had to replace your hood latch . No code to erase if it not fixed since it a safety replace item.

 

i fixed it. There was error code in the srs airbag ecu which I cleared with techstream and error has stayed off since.
