I think its just my personality as I like **** orderly so while i am happy with Lexus offering F-sport I'm still confused by the offerings sometimes
CT-Black nuluxe or leather, CVT
IS -Little L's in the leather, Red leather option, 8 speed
GS-Red leather option, 6 speed auto
LS-Only Black leather and F-sport logo in headrests, 8 speed
GX-Apperance pack only it seems
RX-No variable suspension like the IS/GS/LS, black leather only, 8 speed

All at least keep aluminium trim though I wish piano black/blackwood was an option

GX technically does not have an F-Sport package... it has a SportDesign package, which utilizes some F-Sport accessories.

My guess is each line has it's own product design team and they each do what they want.

combination of time when released and market targeted.

exactly. it's debatable how consistent a product line needs to be. by offering different things on different models they get more customer feedback to find out what's a hit. besides, some features are loved on one model and not on another... racing stripe on a mustang maybe ok to some, but on a taurus? um, no.

well there is time of release - for instance, GS got 6 speed because 8 speed wasnt ready yet. On the other it is type of buyer - while 3IS might get shiny Nuluxe and L letters and who knows what, it is built for younger buyer... LS on the other hand, is more traditional so it has different finishes. Hopefully they dont put 3IS finished into LS ever :-).

Products get released all the time, so there are always improvements coming...

It was an observation. I just would prefer to see for example the red leather option on all the F sports.

Honestly, I don't think any amount of sport styling can save GX.

Any thoughts about the cluster? It's certainly got the LFA feel but I don't know if I like it. The digital speedometer is what's killing me. I'd certainly go for a F-Sport model but I'm just not so sure about this cluster. Right now, it might feel new and cool but give it 5-6 years and it'll feel old and gimicky. I'd much rather have something more in line with the traditional cool led/bluish cluster.

I'm sure some of these will be streamlined eventually to be more consistent - I can't imagine the GS having a 6-speed while the IS gets an 8-speed for example, but there are always unique items one model has that another doesn't.

I'd personally love to see blue leather in an F-sport. That would be awesome. Please Lexus?

Hmmm...Blue Leather in an F-Sport would go very well since Blue seems to be the unofficial F-Sport color.
