About to buy a 2016 IS 300 in white, luxury/premium package w/ 35k, one owner in excellent condition. Still under manufacturer warranty for 9 months and that price includes an extended warranty. What should I be paying for this?

Welcome.

I'd say low-mid-20's? I am finding examples like that around $24,000. 2017's run a little over $25k. If it's not CPO I'd say a little lower.

Sup y'all, NoName here.
Sold my 03 is300 5spd 7-8 years ago and went back to German. Currently own a mk5 R32 which I'll most likely keep for a long time.

Had an itch for a second vehicle so picked up a one owner 16 is350 awd fsport with the rioja red interior. 47k miles. Scheduled window tint in the next couple weeks and wrapping the chrome bits gloss black. Keeping this one stock with just a sound system eventually.

Ok. Could also get an F-Sport w/ 35k miles for around $25k after tax (no added warranty though)

Default My 2014 IS 350 F-sport

Whats up yall. I live in Atlanta Georgia. I just got me a white 2014 IS 350 F-sport.
Sadly it does not have key remote start. I thought all Lexus after 2014 would have the starting feature where u press lock 3 times and it starts engine.

My future plans are Axle back invidia exhaust and Drop in filter for now. I want to get Mid pipe as well but not sure if that would make it fail emissions... If you guys know please let me know. Not sure if the mid pipe on my Lexus has any Cats or not.

Welcome to the forum!
The midpipe has secondary cats which are not monitored by the Engine ECU...that at least answers one question.
Whether it will fail emissions I can't say. There's plenty of folks on here that have aftermarket midpipes...so probably the answer is no, it will not fail.

Yes. In fact, a lot of modern cars have the ability to lock the torque converter.

In addition to what most cars do for torque-converter lock-up (such as cruising in top gear at high speed), our cars will lock the torque converter while in the M shift mode under certain conditions - above a certain RPM, and above first gear. This lock-up is very noticeable when you shift from first to second gear while in M mode at high RPM.

I guess I should have started my first post here but missed this thread. Anyways..

I bought a white 2016 IS300 F sport at the beginning of the month. Got it at 21k mileage for $28K. I had been driving an 05 Infiniti for almost 10 years and finally made the switch. The Infiniti was giving me too many problems at 130k. I’m glad I made the switch. Just recently threw on some 20% tints and changed out interior lights to LED. Im not trying to do anything crazy to the car but some things to consider in the future would be OEM spoiler/dar spoiler, illuminated door sills, F sport intake, and maybe changing out the LCA bushings?

great forum so far!

Default 2015 is250 F Sport

Just picked up a nice used 2015 IS250 with F sport package.
was looking at 5 series and they had this sitting there. Drive it and loved it. Decided a less needy car sounded like a great idea since I am constantly working on my Other cars.
Not sure what my color is called let’s say pewter. Has the red interior which I have always wanted. Love that I can run the car up to the rev limit and enjoy the sporting nature of it.
I have an SL55 which is fun for sure but you can’t rev it much or you will fly away

Welcome to the 3IS family, all!

And as a pretty biased party, I can also agree, Atomic Silver is where it's at!
