New to CL
What's up everyone, been a Lexus driver for the past 5 years. I had a 2007 Lexus Is250. Just recently got a 2017 Lexus Is350 f sport with the ML system with red interior. I'm not sure what the car would fall under, package wise. Also my Lexus didn't come with the SD card for the navigation, so if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as part# etc. Looking forward to being active on the site, as I plan on fixing my new baby up.

Glad to be a member of the atomic silver club.
I have had the car for a couple of weeks now and have some comments.
foe one I think the cars are underrated. I read the reviews form the different car mags and they basically compare it the the 3 series and say it’s to slow. I get that but it’s also misleading because 0-60 isn’t everything in a car. The car has a great chassis it’s fun to drive and is certainly quick enough for a road car.
another thing the mags do not care about is reliability and maintenance. I have owned lots of bmw and Mercedes cars and still do. I wanted something that I did not have to constantly chase with maintenance to keep it in good working order. Trust me a German car is a very good car IF you read a lot and maintain them to a very high level. Lexus takes a different approach with reliability clearly being the top priority and this means a lot.
plus like I said it’s a fine car and chassis that I feel would do well even for a track day event.

If you got the car from a Lexus dealer, I would return and ask them for the SD card. The car should have been sold CPO if form the dealer, meaning it should have the card installed.
If you bought it private then the only reliable way to get a new card is from the dealer.
The part number changes each year as they update the card...not sure what the current part number is.
Unlike Toyota vehicles, the card cannot be swapped on Lexus vehicles...once it's installed into a vehicle it will only work in that vehicle.
That means whoever took your card can't do anything with it...it won't work in another vehicle, and you can't even format it to just use it as a micro SD card...it's literally a paperweight...and it's not even big enough to be a paperweight lol

Hi all! I just got a 2015 IS350 F Sport in silver lining metallic. It has a black interior. I'm super excited to mod it! So far I love driving it! I have a 2002 LS430 that I absolutely love, but it is nice to have something sporty now as well.

Hey everyone ive been lurking on here for 4 years now thats how long ive had my eye on the 3is. Im not a stranger to the car modding scene but have taken a break from the car scene for about 7 8 years now. Proud to say that tomorrow i will be taking ownership of a satin silver '14 is250 rwd fsport. I bought it online thru carvana and it was the easiest thing ive done purchasing a car, no car salesman, no time wasted sitting down filling out paperwork, everything was done on my time. Anyways i traded in my 15 camry se and im excited i get to to own a car that i really wanted. Ive already order some cosmetic body mods on the way and will be creating a build thread soon.

Newbie from ireland
Hi everyone, name is Alex. I'm from Ireland and new to Lexus ownership the last year. Last March (2019) I bought a 1992 1JZ-GTE Toyota Soarer JDM import, i believe U.S model is Lexus SC300. This is / will be, the eternal project car . More recently I traded in our 2014 Mazda CX-5 2.2 diesel for a 2015 Lexus IS300H Hybrid (NON F-Sport). So she is the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine with electric motor. This shall be the new daily for herself. HOWEVER, it will be my daily in about a years time when I get her into a Lexus NX suv. So needless to say, being a complete car nut that can't leave anything alone I shall slowly but surely be upgrading the IS300h to be somewhat more.....spirited .
I have to say I do love the silence of the car when in EV mode, yet equally love putting it into S+, turning off TRC and shifting via the paddles. The car doesn't set any world records in power that's for sure, yet from 60mph upwards in sport mode it is well able to get up tot he higher numbers without hanging around too long. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. Will in time post a build thread and get some pictures up.
Looking forward to being part of the community
