I got a 17' 300 F-sport today in white and red interior. Drove it back home and the steering is superb. Totally in love with this car!
Got into this group to look for information on how to mod the car.

Welcome! Not sure if you have looked at the Build Threads, as well as the other sub-forums (at the top of the main forum page), but those should provide some inspiration. Congrats on the new car, great choice on the color combo!

Welcome to the forum!
@James74 How are you liking the RR Tune on your 250? Do you still need the pedal commander? I would have thought the tune would have addressed throttle response.

tune definitely makes the car way more fun to drive and yes throttle response was improved but with the pedal commander installed I noticed even better throttle response, with the pedal commander on sport + level 4 (highest) the throttle is super sensitive but in a good way , I highly recommend it. Oh if you’re planning on getting the rr tune make sure you have your original air box still installed, if you have some kind of cold air intake installed you’ll keep getting a CEL .

@James74 Thanks for the feedback...it definitely helps to get a real world opinion on the tune. And thanks for the note about the air box. I have a Takeda cold air intake, but I still have my original intake in the basement.

if you go with the RR tune, and put back your original air box you’ll need the RR intake tube , it’s like 180.00 and they give you a crank case breather filter to eliminate the hose that usually connects to the intake tube. Also Lexus makes a Fsport intake box that has an extra air cutout for a deeper sound but you can cut out your own hole on the stock box to save money rather buy the Fsport box from Lexus. Because when you put the original air box back you’ll lose that deep throaty sound the takeada intake produces.

Plans at the moment:
17" square winter setup
18" square summer setup
RR Tune and LCA Bushing

I have 7k miles on new AS3 tires that are measuring/showing uneven wear (inner front and slightly in the back). Fortunately this community has a great search function and years of information readily available!

Hi all, new member here. I bought a second hand 2014 black IS250 last month with the luxury package + ML Audio and a 17" square setup. I am spanish but I am located in Germany (the car is barely known here, and if you see one it will be almost for sure a 300h).

Here is a picture fom the detail shop

That's a fine looking 250...A+ for use of a torque wrench!
