Hi everyone! Thought I'd use this thread as my first post.
My name is Material (or Brad) and I'm a new Lexus owner as of yesterday!
I feel like I just bought my dream car as I haven't had my own vehicle in a little over 5 years.
Was lucky enough to score a 2019 IS 300 F Sport AWD Blue with Red interior with 29k miles on the dot! I did a bit of research on the site prior to my purchase.
I realllllly loved the look of jmuller's car - helped me pull the trigger on this subconsciously I think.
I look forward to turning this car into my own and being a part of the community.

Hi All!
First post ever on this forum having just registered a moment ago. Excited to be a part of this community and it's been years since I've been back to a tight knit community and car modding scene like this. My previous car was a 2019 Mercedes Benz E63S. My car before that was a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe which I absolutely loved modding. I had put a deposit down on a new Mercedes, but because of the current global supply chain issue, they told me I wouldn't see it for a full year (or longer).
I've always loved the look of the latest gen IS and decided to visit a Lexus dealership here. Ended up picking up the 2022 Lexus IS300 AWD F-Sport in Atomic Silver and it's really growing on me. Had it for about a month and I've already gotten a couple "hey nice car man" from strangers...which is really what all car people love to hear haha.
Sorry for the long message, but would absolutely love to hear everyone's thoughts on their experiences and mods done to their vehicles! So far, I've done a few minor things such as 2-way dashcam install, license plate relocator kit, chrome black out of window and side mirror trims (vinyl wrapped gloss black), and my favourite so far, a bluetooth adapter for Android Auto. I've already ordered a front splitters and side skirts from NIA in gloss black (8ish week wait), the TRD rear diffuser, and 20" Vossen HF-5s (arriving in 4 weeks). I'm currently in the market for lowering springs or coilovers, so if any of you have any insight on that, please share! (Haven't found much info online for the latest gen IS).

I can speak on the suspension question.. I personally have RSR Down springs (not the super downs)... I also already have my NIA full body kit as well.. Before my springs even settled, I was scraping a bit getting into my inclined driveway when going in reverse.. The front lip would scrape.. The RSR down springs are excellent for ride, and not too stiff and not too squishy.. It still rides like an IS on stock suspension to me. Especially when they settle.. They may be a "little bouncier than stock" till then.. Hope this helps..

I was number 2 at my local audi dealership for a custom build RS3.. Ive been on the waiting list since early May. Long story short i got tired of waiting and happen to browse the Lexus website and saw that they had an incoming IS350 with special appearance pack. SA that ive used for 20 years put my name on it. Actually picked it up last week. I came back today to finish up some paper work. I also had them debadge the dealership logo and IS 350. Well here she is.
Now i know some of you guys hate the 2 tone color. I absolutely love it!! One of the biggest reason why i decided to go with IS350. As stated in my other post Nardo Grey is my fav color for a car. Only thing i wish the car had was laser lights. Sticker was 51500, + 1500 dealer added BS package. Ceramic tint and partial PPF. When i put my name on the list my SA said it was possible to get the car without the dealer package. Turns out he was wrong. Not sure if he was BSing me but they did knock down the price of the package to 995. Said that was their true cost to the 3rd party that does it. All in all im happy with the car. BTW funny thing ... Audi called me today and said they had a RS3 coming in with my exact build, only difference was the car was Black, not Kemora Grey that i wanted.

Thanks!! Love the black BBS rims with exterior paint choice. Gives the car a mean look. Mark Levinson sound system, the dynamic handling system. Think it has almost every option ... But illuminated door sills. I can live with that! It was the only car in a 300 mile radius with the features I wanted. The day I picked it up, being use to stepping on gas in my Rav4 .. I was almost launched into the next state I will need to learn how to keep my tires on the ground.

New Owner
Hi All,
New owner of of a IS 350. Owned a ES in the past and loved it, but during my latest test drive I noticed the ES is more stiff and sport feeling while the IS was slightly less stiff and more comfortable than I remembered. Also the roominess seemed on par with the ES so I went IS instead. Coming from a G37.

Nice color. But I'm totally not biased lol. It doesn't seem to have every option though. From the outside I can tell its missing the panoramic view monitor and since there are no interior pics I can't tell if you have the memory pack or the power sunshade. Gorgeous car nonetheless.
No power sunshade (will tint down the road), and no panoramic view. But I do have the memory package. Not use to a car moving around me when I start it up & shut it down. Lol. I did install a wire tap at the rain sensor for my radar detector, and tweaked the Lane Change from 3 to 5. The only other thing I may tweak is the auto window down feature (from the fob) with Techstream. My Dad bought a 2022 IS in Cloudburst earlier this year. We are both 1st time Lexus owners ... And both loving it!!
