- new car payments
- No sunglass holder and
- No change tray. lol.
- A bit of comfort is gone as well. The 2IS always felt like driving on a cloud. It was just too smooth. I would always go on autopilot/zone out and wonder how I got to my destination.
- Weight. The 3IS feels so much heavier, until I start cornering.
- Ventilated seats aren't an option on the F-sport

- Moonroof controls - the dial controls on the 2IS were so convenient.
The pros of the 3IS:
- Handling. This is now a true sports sedan. Night and day difference. I can't feel any body roll (I haven't pushed it very far, but further than the 2IS). The 2IS rolls and breaks loose if you just sneeze, lol. I ride a lot and no car can give me the same sensation as a motorcycle. The 3IS comes close. It's actually fun to drive.
- Paddle shifters/throttle. It's way more responsive, barely any lag time.
- Transmission. It's much smoother.
- Perception of speed. My *** dyno tells me the car feels faster, but it's not.
- Interior/navigation/media system. This is to be expected on a new car.
- Dash. I don't think I will ever get tired of making the dash move back and forth. haha.
- The black hole blocker between the seats. I have yet to lose anything from my pockets.
- Windshield wipers. Some kind of sorcery is going on here. When at a stop the wipers slow down automatically and pick speed back up when moving.
- The mother******in back seats fold down!!!! Christ lord all mighty, praise be to Allah, thank the Scientology gods, Mormons are people too. This is worth the upgrade alone.
In summary, the 3IS is made of magic and baby unicorn tears.
Thanks! Good to be here

Hi everybody, I purchased my is350 Fsport back in early August. I have been reading this forum for a while now and was a bit cautious to post something, but I finally gave in. haha.
I had come from the 2is 250 non-Fsport. This is a pretty big upgrade. I am super satisfied with my purchase.![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Thank you for the warm welcome, I look forward learning from many of you and this fast growing 3IS community. All I can say is, please keep the photos coming!![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Your IS350F looks incredibly clean! Even though modifying my car isn't fiscally right for me at the moment, your IS350F setup seriously makes me want to go on a spending spree, hahaha.

Picked up my new IS350 AWD last week! Love it! Sorry for the low quality pics. Will try to get some better ones soon.

I enjoy reading this forum and have a 2013 ES300h as our other car. After owning a 2001 BMW325i, 2005 Audi A4 Convertible, 2008 BMW 335xi and 2011 BMW 528i, the new IS has an excellent ride and responsive steering. Looking forward to driving a reliable and fun car to drive.
While the 335xi was a blast to drive, I didn't really use the power and hated the mandatory run-flat tires. The IS250 has a smooth V6 motor that Lexus will likely change in a few years. The A4 and 335xi had turbo motors, but my preference is a good old NA engine which Lexus has perfected over the years.
I satisfy my need for power and speed by riding my HD.
