This is Marv from Alberta. I just took delivery on a IS350 Fsport (pkg 3) Ultra white/ black interior. I have been waiting and saving a long time to get this car. I had to get a Sienna.. er Swagger Wagon for 3 more important reasons instead during that wait. I still love the reliability of that vehicle too.
I was considering BMW due to peer pressure but I found this forum talking more about how much they loved their IS. Every second or third post on the other forums were owners checking if other shared the same issues post warranty period. This forum has been immensely valuable in making sure I bought the right car and validated the reasons I saved up and waited.
I'm planning to keep her stock for a long time but when you guys keep posting your mods, I don't know how well this plan will go

After years of having muscle cars from the 1970's, and various Japanese cars (MR2, 3000 GT VR4 & WRX), I drove two Toyota RAV4's for the last few years and finally bought the Lexus I wanted at a good price. I plan to keep her stock, maybe buy the Lexus F Sport intake and exhaust, but nothing crazy. It's my daily driver and I know she will take care of me, after all, it's a Lexus / Toyota!
not a newbie here - but definitely one to the 3rd gen IS
finalized a deal this morning on a L-certified 2015 IS 250 F-Sport -- about 15k miles, Nav, and ML. only issue is getting used to the interior color (Rioja Red), not that I hate it, just accustom to black interiors mostly. it is wifey's weekend car, overdue in getting her one, and honestly, it is likely to turn into her everyday ride with the unlimited mileage offer under the certified program and all it's amenities alongside the program.
no major mods expected other than a few cosmetic details - springs, wheels and looking into a front lip (and possible rear diffuser). it didn't have the rear spoiler option for some reason, so that's likely and maybe a roof spoiler too while I'm shopping around. and a must is to eventually black out the window trims

Yup, that is the one and only Lara. And that final was amazing - best clutch hitting I've ever seen!
Don't know how much of a fan you are to the game, but they're having the CPL T20 tournament here in Fort Lauderdlae area this July - well worth a trip if you follow it much
I recently purchased a used 2014 Lexus IS250 in Atomic Silver. The car only had 16,700 miles! I used to drive a 2009 Infiniti G37.
So far I've only replaced all the stock interior bulbs with LEDs including the side mirror lights and reverse lights. Also, I just tinted my windows this week. Stay tune for more mods!
