Been lurking here about a month when I was researching what car to replace my '08 Civic (drove the same car 10 years, mind blowing right??) What a difference. I guess I have to plead ignorance because I used to be of the mind set cars are meant to get you from point A to point B and that's it. I guess that's still true but now I'm getting there with a huge grin on my face. Test drove a few BMW's, Acura's, but when I got behind this beauty it was all over. 2016 350 AWD with the works (including ML stereo which I absolutely love) with just over 6k miles on it. I'm still amazed at how smooth the ride is and I'm fairly positive an LS will be in my future.

Welcome, and great choice! I used to feel the same way, but now... nope. Having a good daily driver makes everything better.
I am from Los Angeles, CA. I recently purchased a 2014 Lexus IS350 F sport in Nebula Grey with red interior, Navigation and ML sound system. No mods. bone stock. I'll post photos soon!

I always respected the brand but never saw myself owning a Lexus. Earlier this year I committed to finally taking a break from boating and traded my 2014 F-150 FX2 for a 2014 Lexus GX460. The reason this committed me to selling my boat was the GX460 tow capacity was maxed out with my 26' Bowrider, and quite frankly pulling my boat around was nerve wracking.
While waiting for my boat to get serviced and find a new owner, I convinced my wife to trade her paid off 2013 Honda CR-V for something sporty. I spent a couple weeks car shopping and my default vehicle was a brand new Subaru WRX premium. The other cars on my list were a 5.0 Mustang, Audi S5, Camaro SS, and the 3IS FSport. After finally getting behind the wheel of a 3IS I knew what we were buying. I found a great deal on a used 2014 IS250 F-Sport and that was my new ride.
Although I was in love with the Ultra-White exterior/Rioja Red seats combo, LFA style gauges and wheels, exceptional handling and steering, I wasn't satisfied with the power. The boat sold, and I was back on the market looking for my perfect Lexus. This time I planned on trading the GX460 for something with everything I loved about our IS250, but would get up and go when I want it to.
I found an Obsidian Black with Rioja Red interior 2015 IS350 F-Sport, and within a few hours it was mine. Right away I made up my mind that this was going to be my toy that I could modify and have fun with, and in less than I month I added a Magnaflow Catback, Tsudo Mid-Pipe (Cat-deleted), and F-Sport cold air intake. I love the car and plan on taking the mods a little further with PPE headers and a dyno tune, and some Seibon carbon fiber body accents. I see myself buying a GS-F in the future, but for now I'm having fun with my 3IS.
Hi everyone, just wanted to make sure that I at least introduced myself.. I hadn't been a part of any forums since my Z and this one seems just as active. So I traded in my 2011 Audi S6 for a 2016 IS200T F Sport Ultra white/red and so far I'm loving it.. although I do miss the power of that V10 after driving it for so long, this package is pretty impressive!
So far I've tinted her out and put the spoiler on and right now just getting a feel for her.. eventually going for rims and full breathing system before the summer is out..
Just bought a 2015 CPO IS250 F Sport today. White on Red. 24k miles. Been wanting a is f sport for two years and proud to say I am officially a owner of one now!

Hello I just picked up a 2015 is250 as a replacement for a 2015xc60 that had issues from the day I bought it. My IS is nebula grey, black interior and the base model as far as I can tell. I am new to Lexus and the IS I have been driving volvo's for years, the xc60 pissed me off for the last time and I just started test driving cars. The IS was hands down my favorite and fit all my needs so I grabbed it. It has 19k mileage and I am sure to be asking a lot of dumb questions as I don't know much about this platform and haven't been excited to mod a car in over a decade.
Been awhile but now I am back with a 3IS after demolishing the 2IS years ago and the fateful day that took one of our best people on here.. Look forward to connecting with everyone here once again.
