I like the regular model more than the F-Sport. I must admit, the grey one looks pretty good, better than the white one that leaked a few days ago. What I really like about this IS, is that it will look nothing like on the road today. You can't simply point the finger and say "oh look, they copied this and that"

They over did it with the F sport. I think everyone likes the gaping maw without the horizontal bumper in a concept car but when it comes to production its a little bit too crazy.

I hope Lexus learns this and wont go further than blacking out the middle bumper part.

Also it looks like the ISh has the same face as the IS obviously except for the blue lexus logo.

Wat are you talking about! Audi has had the same look and they are nailing sales.

IMO, I personally prefer the headlamp design of the 2IS. It's more consistent in design flow and it works well. As they say, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

But what's done is done. I suppose that the only way the headlamp design flaw of the 3IS could be corrected is if they fix during the MMC facelift (but that will take AT LEAST 3 years after initial launch). Bummer

And it's a shame because for me, the rest of the design is fantastic. Yes everything about the design aspect of this vehicle is something that I highly approve.................except for the front headlamps

I mean: How on earth did that disproportional headlamp design (with such a huge gap) ever approved for production?

I think Lexus is missing a HUGE opportunity by not having the IS300h in the US.

The all-new IS 300h delivers 220 DIN hp of Full Hybrid power, yet is targeted to emit less than 100g/km of CO2.
so it is going to be 220hp officially...

Actually DIN hp = ps. So 220ps = 217hp in the US.

One of those pics showed some pretty wide rear tires. I cannot wait for the Lexus website to have the configuator for the 2014 is. Very excited to get one when they become available.

I am referring to the F Sport version of the grill. Audi still offers the horizontal slats on their vehicles, and it makes a huge difference

F Sport's Bridgestone Turanza ER55 summer-performance tires

225/40R-18 99Y in front
&
245/35R-18 103Y in the rear

So far...
