It only pushes to open when the doors are unlocked. When the doors are locked, its locked.

 

correct. i believe they already have it on the 4gs as well. and it's been on a lot of euro cars for years. i think it's a good move

So on the video it shows album artwork on the new display. How does this work? Is this a USB stick with meta file coding? Will apple iTunes from iPhone 5 display artwork when USB is plugged in armrest?

 

I also noticed on this video of the interior of the non f sport shows the navigation, did they reduce the size of the map screen it looks small and on the sides it looks like it could be wider or is it really that small?

 

one that you saw with radio display was default screen... now they put big sheet of glass on both smaller and larger display to avoid adding ugly plastic on the sidea, like in cheaper GS.... looks great imho.

 

I think that was primarily a non-nav car which like the ES has a smaller screen. The new IS doesn't have the big widescreen the GS and LS have, but the screen should be roughly the size of the screen in the ES.

As for album art, my GS shows album art when the iPhone is plugged into the USB port.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm now only concerned about no tweeter speakers in door sill for ML. I must have ML and if there's no tweeter there like 2gen then I'll be really disappointed.

Don't compare me a 3IS FSport to a base Accord either.

 

I don't believe so but I will check. You can control the iPhone through bluetooth though, select playlists, songs, artists, etc

The album art isn't anything to get excited about, on the GS its a small maybe 1.5"x1.5" thumbnail pic/

I would wait and hear the system before I worried about how many speakers and where.

You also might want to hear the stock system. The stock system in my GS is awesome, a lot of the 3GS guys say its as good as the ML was in their 3GS.
