The longer wheelbase will help the ride of the IS too...

thats the trade off with getting a sportscar. The ES is there also if someone wants comfort in this segment.

Its just a "lighting" effect or angle....

Here is the "Ultra White" one again.. + Bonus "Clear" third brake light..

As a previous ES owner I can tell you that, while the ES is very comfortable and smooth, if you want any kind of ability to enjoy spirited driving...the ES doesn't work.

My hope for the IS would be that it would exhibit some of the duality of the GS. Its comfortable, rides great, but then when you want it to it can really carve up some twisty roads.

The IS is hardly a sportscar.

I wish Lexus would lowered the car even more for F-sport models. It still looks like a truck with so much gap for car that has so much sporty features and style.

my IS is not too harsh and this one should be softer but with better handling, due to suspension changes.

ive seen the new IS in person at the Houston Auto Show, the tailights look a lot tamer and less exaggerated in person. For some reason they look massive in the pictures.

Agreed, looks disjointed, where the C pillar meets the trunk, it appears the designers feel asleep and hurried the design, does not flow as current model.

Yeah some angle it looks like the gap is even bigger than current stock height.
