So far I'm not loving it. I think I like the first and second gen. IS's better. The taillights do not look good to me nor does the dashboard (looks too much like the LFA's, which I never cared for). I suppose I could love the exterior styling in person though. I think this is one of those cars you have to see in real life before making a decision.

Too bad the headlights won't be interchangeable with the 2IS. Already I'm wondering how many no front plate tickets will be issued because in no way should the spindle grill be covered up at all. And Ryan's right...soon after the first 3IS vehicles hit the roads, the fog light mod will take place. The interior looks stunning- Lexus did a fine job crafting the inside. Can't wait for the official release!

You make a good point about the front plate--- i've seen the car in person and I honestly don't recall seeing a place on the front where the plate would go-- usually you see the dimples somewhere but I didn't see anything. I wonder where it will go.....
(Not like I'll keep mine on anyway hehehe)

WOW, they really have kept to the concept! First 2014 IS pics
Guess the F Sport will be fairly close to how the ISF will look, very bold and agressive design, same speedo as the LFA. Personally think it looks superb! Best looking car in class, lovely swoops and integration of lines, the lights and DRL look amazing and the way the rear lights curve round and follow the line is so elegant. Looks very coupe lie even in saloon form.
For those who have been asking, rejoice - split folding rear seats!

Love the interior! I am not sure about the exterior yet but the more I look at it the more I think I will grow to like it. I do hope they decide to keep ultrasonic blue (you reading this Lexus?!?!?) because a car with aggressive styling like this deserves some stand out colors.

I'm trying not to say it, because I really like my 2IS a lot.
But in my opinion the
3IS (overall) is so much better looking than the 2IS. I was hoping it would look somewhat butt ugly, but that wasn't the case. And the 3IS interior (as I said before) made 2IS interior look very old.
