Default 2014 Lexus IS 350 F SPORT - Guage Cluster

The 2014 Lexus IS F SPORT features the same TFT LCD guage cluster which virtually has no moving parts except the center ring that houses the tach. The ring moves to the right to display the cluster's settings and features. The only difference between this new cluster and the LFA's cluster is that the LED markings on the ring are omitted and the tachometer graphics are different. In SPORT S & SPORT S+ modes, the tach does change over to white, but the border is not as wide as it is on the LFA. It is also missing the oil temp and oil pressure readouts.

Wow i had really thought it did a lot more than just that ..... unless you're adjusting something often i dont see how you'll be " re-setting " any features that often ?!?! Nevertheless it's still very cool to have but not as WOW as much before ??!?!!

I was wondering how do you judge a digital fuel gauge. I never had one before. On a traditional needle fuel gauge you can tell where you are but with a line or block in a digital how do you know at what point it will suddenly drop and boom your on E.

A digital fuel gauge is no different from an analog one. The float and measurement system in the tank is the same. The only difference is how the information is displayed. Every manufacturer leaves a safety at the E level, usually 1 to 2 gallons just in case.

So your MPH is digital only, is that above the P where it says km? I see the LFA says MPH

The whole display is a digital readout, no analog measurement.

The whole screen is flat.

The redline for the IS 350's 3.5L 2GR-FSE V6 is 6,600rpm like it is on the cluster.

Someone mentioned that your navigation information including a small map, route, and current road...etc will be displayed as well as entertainment (music, radio..). Sounds great but I wonder how it will work exactly. We need a full demo from Lexus.

its flat on the surface, but sides are curved, ... it is not just square screen like on many other cars.

You mean the extreme edges of the screen readout or are you talking about the thin plastic cover that protects the whole cluster? LFA is the exact same way:
