Don't worry or ask about whether you got a good deal or not. It's already done. Just enjoy it now and don't look back. You'll be one of the firsts, so that's worth a little right there.
So clear this up for me. As you wrote in your timeline, you made the purchase, signed the papers, and then the manager tells you you won't be able to take it home? Please tell me you knew this before you made the deal. I'd be red-faced p-o-ed if no one informed me I would not be able to take home my brand new car.

Congrats on the new purchase. I agree about paying sticker. The privilege of being first always comes with a price but it is worth it.
One question. The Technology Package is available on F-Sport??? I had been told that it was not??
I guess I will have to do without it as my car should be built by now. I am just awaiting confirmation.

Yea very good point I guess. I knew I wasnt going to get much (if any) off MSRP. I tried, but it was a quick no. I will have to read the Window Sticker once I go back and visit, I swear I saw it listed on the Window. It has the Lane departure warning and the Blind Spot Monitor with rear cross traffic alert. Its possible those were added as separate options. I'll check tomorrow when I go back to take some interior pics.
Now one more question... After haggling on my trade in on my 2008 IS350, I ended up getting $19,000 for it. I was considering selling it on my own even before I was in there, but I figured with the tax savings in equals about $21,500. My sales guy told me if I sold the car on my own it would be ok, but whispered it to me like he didnt tell me that.. I checked around my area and there are only 4 other IS350's for sale all going for $24,999.
I have about 51,000 miles and its in great condition. Do you think it would be a problem if I sold it to someone else before I picked up my new car and then paid them the difference?
I already signed all the paperwork and they are paying off the remainder of my loan, which was just a few thousand.

Based on the MSRP you gave us, I think our local dealer has the same car. If so, your window sticker looks something like this

You should be able to sell your car on your own as long as you have not taken delivery of your new car. Once you take delivery of your new car and turn over your old car to them, then the deal is done.

HAHA Yep, same exact car I believe!

If that is true, you may have scored. I think my dealer just received word from Lexus that the MSRP on this first F Sport was marked lower than it should be. If that is the case, and your contract shows this lower price, you should be set and locked in at the lower price. Also if true, you really won't be paying MSRP after all and will get to drive one of the first F Sports delivered in the US.

Congratulations!
Regarding selling your IS, I would at the very least take it to CarMax to see what they can give you.
I have an 06 IS350 that I am planning to sell next month to get a Q50 Hybrid Sport AWD (from an out of state dealer) and have been following pricing for used IS350s and under $20k for your low mileage car looks too low.
Also, did you try out the back seats and if so, what is your impression of the added room back there?

It's weird how they price it out in different states. In CA it's $39,000 for the car then $7000 for the F sport/nav. In IL apparently it's $41,000 + $5000.
