I looked within 500 miles of my house and the cheapest 2014 350F i could find was 41k from a guy with heavy mods.. "Wanted stock and CPO" and one from a bmw dealer up in Jacksonville for 43k and neither of them would move, or was it in the color I wanted. Both of those would need Tag, Title and taxes.

I asked if I could do that and he said they wont wouldn't do that.
How long are you going to keep it?

Plan of keeping it for at least 6 years. I like to my Acura for 7 before I wrecked it.

Could be corrosion, or he really banged the suspension up. You should ask why they were replaced.

Also does CPO really matter on 2014 car with 10k miles?
ML should be a badge on it and BSM is a button on the left handed. CPO matters because they throughly check the car and better warranty.

I keep seeing people purchase or lease IS250's which in my opinion is kinda sad considering for about 1-2grand (total purchase price) you could be getting a better vehicle especially engine and trans wise.

Again if anyone in Texas is having trouble getting a deal on an is350 just hit me up and I will forward you a good point of contact in Dallas.

So I'm deciding on purchasing an IS 350 down in California since so many here have gotten awesome deals there... Could you guys PM me the dealer or salesman you worked with?

How easy is it to travel around southern California without a car? I plan on flying down there for the weekend to find a car and driving it back.

(I'm from Washington btw)

You will definitely need a rental car. Why not seal the deal on the Internet BEFORE traveling down here. I assure you if you try negotiate on their turf, you are in for a miserable experience. Get quotes from the Internet departments of as many dealers as you can and pit them against each other. Let your keyboard do all the work for you.

One thing I ran into while contacting some CA dealers from AZ: Some are saying that giving me pricing would be a violation of some agreement they have and they are not allowed to work with out-of-state buyers. Some still will or do not know about that "rule." One dealer that agreed to give me invoice pricing on a special order 18 months ago now refuses to talk to me.

I will PM the OP with a guy I am currently dealing with.

Sounds like sales staff BS to me - we bought a corvette from a Georgia dealer a few years back and had it drop shipped to CA. I can understand where some dealers' admin/finance staff might not be educated on how to handle the sales tax and DMV registration aspect of the transaction and are reluctant to deal with out of state sales because of that.

After emailing pretty much every single dealer in CA ended up buying a 2014 CPO. Did everything thru email this go around, quick and painless, pretty much showed up and signed the paperwork.

2014 IS250
CPO with 8k miles
navi/bsm/premium package.

32k

My offer is $49,048 MRSP. After negotiation got it down to $43,944. OTD is $47,933. (includes sales tax, reg., tag, all misc fees) 10k miles a year. But since I'm planning to purchase after lease.. this wouldn't really matter..

I asked for both 27months and 36 months. With $0 down, $520 a month for 27 months. $500 for 36 months.

The car is a 2015 IS350 Fsport. Nebular grey, red interior.

Good deal..?

Looking at a couple CPOs right now, how do you guys feel about previous dents/dings on a CPO? It makes me feel a bit iffy. I mean, everything else is perfect, full service history, low mileage and no other repairs but seeing those lines about dent removal makes me a lot less interested.
