Yeah only 2 dealerships in the state and both owned by the same people, that's tough. I would say wait until the 2016's start coming in or wait until December. Or possibly look at other states, if that is an option.
It's funny because I asked a salesman which promotion is better in terms of getting a better deal on a car, the Golden Opportunity or December to Remember? He said it was the Golden Opportunity because they need to make room for all the 2016's coming in. I'm not sure if this is true or not, I have no idea. Good luck!

I just want to say thank you to everyone posting their prices. I learned alot and it helped me with my lease. I just leased a 2015 is350 awd, nebula grey. I love the nebula grey. Leasing this car took alot more time and effort than I thought I would. I am in northern nj and we have quite afew lexus dealers in the area. However, I couldn't do business with any dealers in ny because there is no MSD program in ny and that knocked out alot of dealerships.
Of the remaining dealerships in my area only one was willing to work with me and my numbers and that was about 50 miles from me. Here are my numbers for those looking for another reference point for price:
Msrp = 48,197
Sales price = 43,531.68
residual = 30,846
36mth/10k
mf = .00027 (6 msd's, total of $2,400)
Monthly payment of $385
Also, no money due at signing, includes all taxes, doc fees, dealer fees, and 1st months payment.
I took this deal to 4 other lexus dealerships and they all told me that the deal was unrealistic and not possible. I signed the papers last Tuesday.
I got about 10% off msrp. I think that is about the best you can do in my area. I don't think it's possible to get 12-15% off msrp in this area. The dealers just won't go that low. You guys in California are lucky. I went to the largest volume dealer on the east coast which is in nj. If you are in the ny/nj area their ads are everywhere. They had a is350 for 47,688 and I proposed that I would pay all taxes and fees and put down 9 msd's and I asked for $370/ mth. The general manager came over and shook my hand and said "thanks for coming in"....in other words f$@& you...we don't need your business.
The dealership I leased from had a is350 fsport in white and I was able to get them to $397/ mth with 8 msd's. My wife didn't like it in white. If they had it in nebula grey then I would have taken it. I didn't even bother asking any dealers to match that price because I knew they wouldnt.
Maybe once 2016 start rolling into the dealerships then you may be able to do better or wait until the end of the year (December to remember event) but for now those numbers are a great deal in nj.
Again thank you all. And just one more thing ....nebula grey is absolutely Stunning!!!

Hi All,
I thought I'd share my numbers with you as well.
I leased the car in June:
2015 is350 RWD (no F) brand new
MSRP: $45,930
Negotiated: $41,212
Rebate: $500
Down Pmt: $1000
Term: 36/mo
MF: .0009
Residual: 64% ($29,395)
Tax: 6.25% ($2544)
Monthly: $462
I hope I got all the figures for you.
After looking at my numbers, I think I got soaked but what can ya do? The problem I believe is that I negotiated a good price (I'm thinking) but a $2300 "rental" fee showed up on my invoice (yes I signed it and went through the numbers but it didn't register in my brain so I know I'm responsible )
So new shoppers: make sure you take all the numbers in and probably walk away after your first negotiation.
However, if this is a good deal then forget everything I said
Let me know your thoughts.
Question: do I get that down payment back at the end of my lease? Or, can it be applied to the residual if I purchase the car?
Thanks!

It's not the greatest of deals but it's not that bad either - you got a10% discount off msrp. Another 2 or 3% would have got the payment to the 425-430 range.
You won't get your $1000 back at the end of the lease - not sure where you got that idea.
If you have funds available you could use multiple security deposits next time to substantially reduce the money factor. Each deposit reduces the money factor by .00008 up to a maximum of 9 deposits. In your case, the money factor would have been reduced to .00018. For around $4000 in deposits, you would have saved most of the $2300 in interest and you get the $4000 back at the end of the lease (pending any excess mileage/damage charges).

The thing I don't understand is the tax and the "rental fee" - using your numbers plus the a $700 acquisition fee I get something like $400/mo. But with the extra ~$2000-2500 it sounds like you're being charged, that's where the $460 comes from which sounds awfully high for that price. I was under the impression that cali taxed on the monthly payment, not the price of the car.

Looking back, at the time of signing, and seeing the additional charges, I said to myself "oh ya, there are all the "little" fees they charge you (i.e. document fee, acquisition fee etc etc)" not realizing that the size of this "rental fee" would add so much to my monthly. But, next time, I'll make sure that doesn't happen again. This is my first lease. I usually buy outright. Transaction took place in TX so they calculated the tax based on the sale price and just divided by 36 months.

I did not take that offer since some current owners of IS350 Fsport got it w/ selling price of 41000 in August and December last year.
I am will be actively looking for Lexus IS350 Fsport in the middle and the end of August as sale managers need to beat the quota. In the worst scenario, I will try again in December.
BTW, we can get Lexus GS350 w/ Navigation only with the same price range. It has same engine and transmission and even weight distribution too.

I got an offer with selling price of 42800 as a result the OTD price would be 46800 approximately in June 2015.

I wonder which dealership is willing to sell at such low price....
Between a loaded IS350 F-Spot and a GS350 with Nav only, I would still take the IS350 F-Sport lol

Additionally I think it is possible to get selling price 41000 since I got offer - selling price of 42800 in June. So why not in August and December with 41000 ?
In worst case, I can even test drive Lexus IS200t (if it is 80% experience compared to IS350 )then I may end up getting it with even cheaper price.
My current car still running strong as back up one if I never get selling price of 41000.

I am not buying into any invoice, MSRP but the patience, research, and fixed budget will help getting lowest price which others have successfully got it and shared in this forum from last year.
