MF = Money factor on a lease (similar to interest on a conventional loan)
MSD = multiple security deposits on a lease - each MSD lowers the money factor by .00008 - lexus allows up to 9 MSDs which would lower the money factor by .00072 which helps lower the lease payment by a good chunk.

Do we have any finance cash back from Lexus in October 2015 ? I got an offer of 4000 cash back if I have finance with my local Lexus dealer but they would not tell me the MIN and MAX of APR. Is it a scam to get me to their dealer or it is really good deal ? Please help.

First, Thanks for all the knowledge in this forum. I was just told by Lexus of Mobile, AL that the MF on a 2015 is350 F Sport was .0017. Is this correct? Said no incentives this month. Also, anyone know the residual on a 36/7500 lease for that car? Thank you in advance!

New to the forum. Great info here!
It seems like most of the discussion in prices revolves around leases. I will be putting 18k miles on this car per year so I don't think a lease makes sense for me.
I see people saying that in SoCal I should expect to get anywhere from 10% to 14% off of MSRP. Does that apply to a new 2016 IS350 F Sport that will be financed?

Logically they would want to deal on the 2015s more but you'll want to decide what the value of a 2015 vs a 2016 is to you. Look at resale prices on a 2014 vs a 2015 to give you an idea. Get prices on both and decide if the 15 or 16 is a better deal. Let us know, I'm curious to see what you figure out.

i haven't done any calculations but from experience, resale value from '15-'14 most likely will be greater than '15-'16. '14 being the 1st model year, its' resale value will be typically lower compare to the second year model. since there aren't any differences between the '15 - '16 IS350, i think the resale value difference there will be minimal, just my 2 cents.
Edited to add:
It also depends on your timeframe. If this is your 'forever car' then cheaper is better since in 10+ years, it won't matter much to the resale value 15 vs 16. If you're looking to sell within 5 years, the $2600 number should be a good figure to use where you'll come out roughly the same when you re-sell it if you make sure the 15 is roughly $2600 cheaper or more than it's 16 counterpart.

I am looking at the 2016 IS 200t especially for its performance and MPG increase over the 2015 IS 250. I have talked to several dealers in my area and it seems there won't be many deals right now (at least not in my area) plus if I order it now I won't see it until February!
I am planning to purchase instead of lease it. Right now the best deal I have is $600 over invoice for a 2016 IS 200t F Sport with ML Nav, pre-collision system and dynamic cruise, and blind spot monitoring. I will go with the best financing I can get which seems to be USAA right now. Any input on this price is greatly appreciated.

Yup like i had stated before, I wouldn't be buying a 2015 model for anything over 40k at this point. We got our 2015 on October 18th of 2014 with almost every option except AWD for %12 percent off invoice.

Did you mean to say 12% off msrp? 12% off invoice would approach 20% off msrp which would be more than an incredible killer deal.

Guys, please help me purchase my first IS. I plan on getting an is200T-F sport in Dec or early next yr and looking for some useful tips that can help me. I plan on trading in my current car (08 lexus is 250- 65k mi). I want to get the USB with red interior and am located in so cal. Does anyone have any idea how I should go about this? Looking for any tips on trade ins, or even how much I should be looking to pay otd. I've "built" the car online on the dealership site and it comes out to $43k for the car. Typically, how much is fair to pay when compared to the car's invoice price?
