Do you calculate the tax after or before the rebate?

I see.. are you leasing or buying? 1.9% is your financing rate or lease rate? Thanks!

Financing, not leasing. I wouldn't put money down on a lease.

It was good because I got the 1.9% APR as well.

MSRP: $48,148
I got it for $42,495 - $1,000 College Grad Rebate = $41,495.

6.6k off MSRP

That is just unbelievable. What the heck is going on with CA dealers!?

+1 . . . . . . . . .On a related note . . . . . . I know we have the most honest people on this site, but I learned a lesson when I first joined years ago, some of the stuff on here is just flat out misleading and/or wrong. That's not calling anyone out in particular. Just saying.

I don't think anyone would mislead anyone about the deal they are getting. What doesn't make sense is that if the demand on these are so high why are these dealers going way below invoice!? Perhaps demand isn't as high as we seem to think or true invoice price is much further below what has been published! But if demand is much higher than supply than we should be seeing dealers staying closer to MSRP.

I've been saying the same thing, and my dealer doesn't believe it either. There is simply no good reason why a dealer would do deal after deal like that.

im not surprised on the 6k below deal. i've emailed a few CA dealers and the lowest i was offered was 42700 on an msrp of 47580. I think there are too much competition between cali dealers that they are dropping prices way down. I think thats the whole reason. I mean, i live in Las Vegas and we only have 2 lexus dealerships and are both owned by the same company, and these guys would never come close to those numbers.

So did you buy from CA dealer and is that what you paid?

YUPP i actually traded in my '14 IS250 Fsport for the '14 IS350 Fsport. i wasn't upside down with my trade in (surprisingly) my payoff for the 250 was $38k and dealers offered $36k at first but i fought hard to get it even. probably after 3 weeks of constant emails they cave in and gave me what i wanted. so I'm happy where I'm at now. got great prices on both cars

Congratz! I would have no problem buying from CA dealer and having it shipped. That's what I was going to do until my local dealer decided to give me $3500 off after I told them about invoice pricing offer from CA dealer. If you include shipping from CA I would have to get $4500 off which is like $1500 off invoice.

Reason I didn't even try for lower price is I didn't think dealers would sell much below their invoice costs! I thought $500 below invoice was great deal.....
