Looking to find what others have paid recently for a lease of a 2018 IS350 FSport for a 39/10k approx 50,500 sticker. Went to a dealer recently and they were $90 over current monthly payment for 2015 version. Dealer's figures come out to $540 all in only first payment due for a 39/10 (my current deal is a 36/10). Starting discussions with other dealers now, maybe I have to wait for the June figures to come out. Any feedback appreciated.

Hi All,
I really need your help on a deal I currently have on the table.
Current lease ends August 22:
2015 Lexus IS 250 F sport Atomic Silver
Invoice: 46,822.00
Residual Value: 29,956.48
TTL: was included as long as the first payment
Lease: 3 years and 12k miles per year
Monthly payments: 452
Down: 0.
Over Mileage: 17K
New Deal"
2018 Lexus IS 300 F Sport AWD Fully loaded
Invoice: 47,822.00
Residual Value: Not sure yet
TTL: is included as long as the first payment
Lease: and 15k miles per year
Monthly payments: 550
Down: 2500
They are going to put the Over mileage from my old car into this new lease. Which I feel they shouldn't since they are the ones who needs the deal.
I have a bad feeling on this deal and Honestly I don't think is a great one. I'm so confuse and I don't know what to do. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

That deal is a no go, first you need all the numbers, as for the mileage overage there should be some sort of negotiation on that, perhaps some can be forgiven since you're getting another car from Lexus. I would say, reach out to other dealers for a better deal.
Please do some research , there are a few threads on the forum about this specific subject. One option is to call LFS now to buy the overage miles at a lower rate than the standard. While the dealer may not forgive 17K miles, they might be inclined to charge you half the amount since you're getting a new lease. Therefore, you have options

The dealer is taking a bath on last car. With 53,000 miles its probably only worth $21,000 as a trade in, not the $29,000 residual. If you would of bought the 17,000 miles that you went over at the beginning of the last lease it would of costed roughly $3400, or about $100 extra a month...

Thank you so much for the response. I'll reach out to other dealers and see what kind of deals they can give me. For the Over Mileage I'll call LFS on monday and find out what can they do for me. The problem is that I gave down the 2500 down payment already but I din't sign any contract. I should be able to get that money back with no issues correct? Good thing the car was still at the port when I went to try to make the deal.

You are absolutely correct. If i get to keep the car I would have to pay for the residual value plus TTL which it will come out to 34k plus. If I can try to make a deal with LFS and see if they can reduce the price of the mileage over, that will make things more easier.

What are they charging for the overage? 25 cents per mile, which is $4250. Maybe you can get them to reduce it to the price they charge if you pre-buy the miles, which is 20 cents per mile, or $3400. It may not be much but it will save you $850 dollars.

Dealer in Tracy, CA has a 2017 IS350 F-Sport with 16k miles for $34k before TTL. I wonder how much lower they'll drop it. I'm debating jumping on it, but I really want USB lol.

Will be soon picking up a new Obsidian 2018 IS350 F-Sport AWD out of state - was the best deal I could find around...
Fully loaded: ML/Nav package, BSM, heated steering
MSRP: $50,823
Sale Price: $46,298
Taxes/Fees: $3511
OTD Price: $49,809 (no trade-in)
Looking at other dealerships locally, new IS350 prices were $2500-3000 higher than my sale price and were not even fully loaded. Some IS300s with a few packages were starting at $42-45K.
Thoughts?
