Default Help!

So I wanted to wait on a 2015 model to hopefully get everything I want but I need to lower my monthly payment because we are going to be building a new house. My current lease payment is way too high at $540.00 per month.

Can anyone give me some advice on what kind of number I should aim for (sale price, money factor and monthly lease payment) on a 2014 IS 250 F sport with nav in Florida with 15k miles per year for someone with good credit. I could probably do 12 k per year to save on the monthly payment. I am going to be emailing my salesperson soon and I want to be prepared.

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

My significant other is searching for a IS250 right now. She is deciding between the C class and this. I prefer the IS250 since I like the interior much better.

The vehicle she was looking at had navi, safe lane change feature, red leather interior, white exterior. The MSRP was ~42k and his initial offer was $40k which I think we can do better. Having said that, what would be a great price for this vehicle? She is thinking of putting 10k down and paying back the rest in payments.

2 Questions

1. Is your girl looking at the F-Sport, or just a regular IS 250?

2. Is the $40K the Out-the-Door price? (Invoice + Taxes & Fees)

Hi,

Great questions. She is looking at the F-sport since she wants the red interior. Basically the f-sport package and navi. I believe heated seats are a part of the f-sport package.

The initial offer was 40k, not out the door. I would be happy with 37.5k before taxes and fees. Which in CA, I think would come close to 41k OTD. But I'm guessing that is unlikely and will be a long shot.

I've contacted a few dealers including one who is a friend of a friend. We'll see what they come back with. The color combination I think will be difficult.

Thoughts?

I actually just bought the same car - just a different color combo - I got the Nebula Grey with a Light Grey interior. Here is my bill:

MSRP: $42,988.00
Price I Paid: $38,470.00

My OTD price was $41,500.

Thank you so much for sharing your info. Your MSRP is slightly higher than what ours was by close to 1k. I guess our goal of 37.5k may be possible. Thanks!

Safe travels.

honestly I would stay away from 250s. 2015 they are probably going to replace it with the 2.0 turbo engine. Go for the 350 now or wait for the 2.0 turbo

Thanks for the tips. I'm not familiar with the Lexus lineup. I do love the turbos on my 535i though. Getting a chip made a huge difference.

Is the price on the 350 much higher than the 250? We honestly haven't even considered the 350 since a) we imagine the 250 is cheaper and b) we imagine the 250 has better gas mileage.

its about a $4k difference, but youll get the engine, 8 speed transmission (RWD only, not AWD), and bigger brakes rotors and calipers. But since they are more rare, might not get as big of a deal as 250s but people are still getting good deals on 350s

250 is 21/30 mpg
350 is 19/28 mpg

not much of a difference. The 2IS mpg difference was bigger for the 250

Bought IS250 AWD atomic silver luxury pkg with nav and flaxen interior. MSRP $46242. Invoice 43613. Got it at 600 below invoice plus tax and fees.

Super excited and enjoy the car.

Thanks everyone. I called up a few dealers and I think I'm close to finalizing a deal at 38.5k for an IS250 with an 42,988 MSRP

WOW, that would be perfect for me, it would save me money without having to put so much down! I am waiting to see what she offers me and then I will show her the deals everyone on here is getting and see if she can match it.

True but it seems like people are getting really good deals all over and they are all the 2 year leases so I am hoping December to Remember is going to help me out. At the very least I should be able to get a new 250, just excited that it might be possible to finally move into a 350. Another hurdle is my pickiness about color.
