or 2K down for 350 a month.
I'm not big in the detail numbers as I do not plan to buy off at the end of the lease.
as long as I can afford monthly payment and its good deal, that's good enough for me.

should I take that deal right the way ?
no bad deal - i got the same thing for 100 less - terrible. whats your area? Please give me the msrp of the car you are looking at the rv%, rate, etc.. these are all necessaryd when calculating a lease. Never put any $ down.

I paid 42k for my IS250 non-nav out the door, and they gave me the 18'' f-sport wheels.

At this point, after seeing all you guys' posts, I don't even know if that's a good deal

I'll say that;s a terrible deal. You could have get Is350 no nav with that money easy.

Honestly, I don't even remember. He was a new sales guy that came from the service department. He had a senior sales guy work out the details after a valiant effort to show me invoice. At the end of the night the senior guy let me know it was the other guy's first sale since transferring over.

Hello,

Been reading this forum as I was looking into getting an IS250 FSport.

I'm curious how you guys are packaging the options on a site like Truecar and Carsdirect?

On the Lexus.com website, They only present 3 columns of packaging. I basically want everything included on the 3rd column, the F-sport column, which includes navi, bluetooth, etc.

But on sites like Truecar and carsdirect, it seems to break things down even further. What is the equivalent packaging? FSport + luxury package + technology package?

You just have to look at what is included in the individual packages and do a line item match to the listings on TrueCar, etc... TrueCar I know breaks out each option's cost individually.

If you are looking for F-Sport in CA, you are likely only going to find these configurations:
  • F-Sport + Nav + BSM + some combination of (trunk mat, cargo net, wheel lock, bumper applique)
  • F-Sport + Nav w/ ML + BSM + some accessory package
So just check those options on TrueCar, and you'll see the break down. Don't check 18" Wheels and Backup Camera, because those are already included in F-Sport or Nav package. And you'll have to add the accessory package price yourself, because TrueCar doesn't have those. So the first package I see is MSRP $42,810, TrueCar $38,887. The 2nd package is MSRP $43,950, TrueCar $39,935.

If you want F-Sport in any other configurations besides those, you pretty much have to special order it. Even then, you cannot get F-Sport + Luxury + Technology.

What is BSM? Blind side monitoring? I guess f sport plus navi package is fine. I don't need the ML audio. Is Bluetooth built into those two packages because I don't see it as an option and I don't see it listed under any of the luxury packages.

BSM = Blind Spot Monitor
Bluetooth is included in Navigation Package (see here).

Okay that page explained it much more thoroughly. Thanks for the link.

A lot of the features I like are in the luxury + technology package. From my understand, you can't combine the F-sport + luxury technology package. Anyone know why? It seems like a forced choice between visual features of the F-sport, and the luxurious features of the tech package. I want both!!!

Dude, you are preaching to the choir! I want both too. I mean seriously, no memory seats? A chevy cruze has memory seats!?! I'm hoping in 2015 they make both available. Crazy thing is, it IS available in Canada. Stupid.
