@TurkEclipse. What is it about your vehicle that causes you to think its a 2015? Isn't the plate associated with the date of manufacturing?
I maybe wrong but a true modern day Euro spec vehicle is not legal to be in the US. A person can purchase a vehicle in Europe but it must be built to US standards or it isn't legal to be imported. Such as a US spec speedometer must have mph and must have it displayed bigger in size for it to be legit where as Europe operates on kph an is not required to have mph on the gauge There are many others but for the sake of comparison that's a tiny example of the differences.
I'm far from an expert on the topic but can only provide feedback based upon living in Europe for five years; driving in England, France, Italy, Czech, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain.
