Thanks, and it was from Yosemite. You still captured milkyway without a solid tripod, gj.

did something similar before w/ friend's prius. Focus was on the car (not stars so they're soft) and using ground as a tripod (forgot mine) lol. used a crappy old camera for it. didnt turn out too good.

It was definitely a significant change in cabin noise. It took a little bit to get used to it. With that being said I would probably do it all over again. Only problem I've had is with the O2 sensors. Still throwing CEL codes

Color-matched the rear reflectors, removed the gloss black f-sport trunk badge, and removed the gloss black vinyl wrap from the roof. I started feeling like I had too many black accents going on with the roof wrap. I'm trying to move towards a more sleek and simplified look with the car. Stillen diffuser and some other goodies should arrive this week... I'm playing around with different filters in the first two attached pictures.

Luisvm - I've been meaning to ask you - how did you put gloss vinyl on your trunk badges? Sounds difficult to do...did you do it yourself or pay? If so, how much if you don't mind me asking. Thanks!

My trunk badges are actually painted gloss black. I think it would be really difficult to vinyl wrap the badges. Originally, I plasti-dipped them, but I wasn't happy with the finished product, so I ordered a spare set online. I prepped the surface prior to spraying them, followed by a thin coat of adhesion promoter, several coats of gloss black, and finished with roughly two coats of clear. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I have some experience with DIY paint projects, but nothing too involved.

When you say prepped, did you sand them to dull the chrome? I've been looking to do this myself, but I'm too lazy to sand and want to skip straight to primer and painting.

I'm sure you could do that, but I wouldn't recommend it. The paint will adhere much better if you at least scuff it up a bit. It doesn't take much effort. I started with 400 grit and then smoothed it out with 600 grit and some light wet sanding before applying paint. Based on my limited experience painting a few different sets of emblems, if I was going to skip a step, it would be primer and not sanding. I painted my friend's G35 emblems without using primer, but I did sand the surface first. For his emblems, I used Krylon Dual Bond and it worked really well. He's had them on for nearly a year without any issues. Krylon advertises it as paint + primer in one: https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-8801-P...nd+gloss+black.
