^^ i really like the pre-facelifted model more. like reeeeeeeeealllly. if lexus keeps up with these sorts of designs, then i'll be moving to the german side of town.

Then you'll realize how bad the quality is on that side of town and you'll be back.
audi has been doing quite well as of late according to a number of well-reputed polls on reliability.
I have a buddy that worked for Lexus as a tech...and he now works for Audi as a tech.
Let's just say he's making money hand over fist at Audi...and it ain't because the cars are so great.
Actually that's why he left Lexus...there was no money to make cause there was nothing to fix.
I'll give Audi credit, they make some nice looking cars though...and consistently across all the model lineups.

i mean, even if we aren't giving the germans credit for purported increased reliability, they still are going to be relatively free of problems during their first three years and i'd lease german. my motto is lease german, buy japanese. unless i'm going to buy something that i realllllly like within a german stable, like, say, the new m2. in that case, i'd keep it because it's such a gem.

Not to go too off-topic, but I am definitely going to look at the Koreans next... The G70 doesn't look half-bad. I just drove a G80 5.0 for a few days and loved it... Not really my style, but it was good at everything it was supposed to be - comfortable, quiet, and surprisingly quick! So I'd love to see their take on a small luxury car. Just wanted to say, Germans aren't the only option anymore. Heck, the Italians are even in the fray now with the Giulia...
