Mix of parts, got lucky with a dirt cheap complete console out of an RC 200t, same year. Had to get the console lid and trim pieces new because the original came in yellow.
Only part that was not a direct swap was the gear indicator, had to modify the original to fit. The pinout and plug between RC and IS is different, luckily the housing was similar enough to make it fit with a few changes.
The long trim pieces are from the 2019+ RC, lower trim pieces are same as pre-2019 RC. All bolts for the console itself are in the same location as the IS console, air ducting is same. Wiring harness for the seat heating/cooling control in the IS is combined with the infotainment controller, by default it's a bit short, but can be made to work with the new layout by redoing the cable sleeving.
Layout and storage are better than the IS console, especially cup holder locations. I would say it was worth the effort, but not cost effective unless you can get the entire console out of a wrecked car.
Pre-2017 IS share the same style center stack with pre-2019 RC. 2017+ IS has the same center stack as 2019+ RC.

Nice job...looks factory!
I wonder if this would work for a Navi equipped IS to an RC swap.

Thanks!
Probably would, but the infotainment controller for RC with nav is remote touch, I think. There was a thread some time back where someone tested that with the IS nav system and I believe they had to adapt the controller to work because the pinout is different compared to the IS. Touchpad works, but the extra buttons do nothing.
