Installed a base model diffuser on my 2017 200t. Looks cleaner, should work really nicely when I back-date my tail lights to the 2016-style. I think that will be a project for next year.

Wow! You really are serious about taking it backwards. To each his own. I like the previous lights better as well. They look a lot better. Not sure if I did the cleaner diffuser though.

I think the diffuser is going to work pretty well with the 2016 lights. Was not a big fan of the vent on the F sport diffuser, I think it breaks up the elegant lines of the back end.
Opportunistic mod though, if I can't get a good deal on the older lights, I'm fine with the current style.
I love the 2017 front end design, wouldn't change it at all.
Got my winters on. They look to be similar in finish to the mesh wheels on the Premium or Luxury package trims. Definitely going to look at having these powder coated to match or come close to the finish on my stock F Sport wheels, another project for next year.

Looking good for winter!
Honestly I'd leave the wheels as is, but that's me. They go good with the vehicle color...and rightfully so, as you mention they look just like the OEM luxury package wheels.
The F Sport finish is achieved by powder coating the wheel black, then painting it silver...that's how they get the Hyper Silver finish.

Hmmm, didn't know that. I'll see how they grow on me in their current form. Curious how much these wheels weigh, she seems a bit more zippy with these vs the F Sport wheels that seem to weigh a ton.

Are your winters the 17 inch rims?
If they are they would be 17x8, whereas the F Sport rims are 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear...so already you dropped several pounds just in the rim...and that's not counting the tires yet.

Actually these are 18x8, square all around. It's possible maybe the tires weigh less in addition to the wheels.
Hmmm, you found out the paint/code secret? Previous owner curbed all of mine, but I don't want to lose the OEM colour or finish.
Same with mine...previous owner curbed all 4 wheels.
They worked in downtown Toronto, so I suspect they used to park on a one way street...on both sides of the street, hence all the curb rash.
The dealer I bought it from sent the wheels to rim repair shop and they refinished them.
From a color perspective they matched it well...and they did all 4, so hard to tell the difference unless you parked it beside another F Sport.
I'm not sure what the paint code is for the wheel though, but the process is pretty straight forward.

E46CT did a DIY write up on this. I have linked the thread and links to the products he recommended on amazon. i bought the products and used the paint on a tiny scuff i had and it matches pretty well. a little darker at first but it blends better after time i feel.

Yes, one of the first things I tried. Sadly my restoration skillz are shabby at best, so about all I accomplished was to hide the scraped areas to some extent with the touch-up.
There's a guy out here offering to powdercoat (and supposedly repair) rims for about the same as what others will simply repair and repaint, so may pursue that. Would be nice to know the closest means/method/colours as possible before-hand though.
These wheels are growing on me. Looks like OE took the 20 inch F Sport wheels from the RX, downsized them to 18 inch and flattened out the face of the wheel a bit. I think they look better than the factory mesh option.
