I think the diffuser is going to work pretty well with the 2016 lights. Was not a big fan of the vent on the F sport diffuser, I think it breaks up the elegant lines of the back end.
Opportunistic mod though, if I can't get a good deal on the older lights, I'm fine with the current style.
I love the 2017 front end design, wouldn't change it at all.

Sorry forgot to add the offset, it's +38. I personally like wider fitments but it doesn't jive with the majority of the CL members haha.

18x9.5 +38 on the rear is a perfect fitment, and many use 9.5, whether it be 18 or 19 inch...some are even running 19x10 and 10.5.
The challenge is the front as clearance is at a premium...usually 8.5 or 9 with available offsets is easy to fit without worrying about running into fender liners or hitting suspension.
If you were able to fit a 9.5 on the front with a small spacer and not have any rubbing issues, then definitely a win win.
Do you think if you went to a 265/35/18 if there would be any issues? I'm looking to a run a 18x9.5 +38 on the rear, but was looking at 265/35/18...which isn't a popular choice.

I don't think many balk at wide fitment, it's more so what can fit without an issues.

I'm curious to know the reason for the 5mm spacer as well. I originally wanted to do 18x9.5 +38 with 255/35R18 tires on all fours, but was unsure if I would even clear the fronts properly so I played it safe 18x8.5 +38 on my fronts using the front 225/40R18 sizing.

I feel like I'm not qualified to give advice to the fitment god but I'd like to share my personal experience just to give perspective lol. I'm currently running a 19x9.5 +40 in the rears with a 255/30/19 pilot sport 4s tires and I have minor rubbing over huge bumps or dips. It was worse when the tires were new but I guess I wore down the sidewall enough for it not to be a problem anymore. I initially wanted to run 265 michelins but decided to play it safe on the first round and I'm glad I did because I think even the +40 with the michelin tires is too aggressive. I am on ark springs though so if I had half downs or stock height I don't think it would be a problem. Before the michelins I was on 265 hankook v12s and never experienced rubbing.
Michelin's do make great tires, and they like making them with beefy sidewalls...ain't nothing wrong with that at all. If anything it's more bang for your buck.
When it comes to tight clearances though, all that good of the Michelin's become a negative.
Also, when you really think about it, how much bigger is a 265/30/19 vs 255/30/19. The 265 is 10mm wider (the width of your index finger nail) and 1.5mm taller (radius, not diameter)..which is like 10 sheets of paper stacked up......so overall not a whole hell of a lot.
I definitely won't be getting Michelin's...but still on the hunt for tires.
