^^ Your car looks great!! I totally hear what you are saying, after the snow we got yesterday and the cold we are expecting next week, I am ready to move somewhere warm and never come back!! I hate winter beyond words will ever be able to express

Here in Atlanta, I just wish it would stop raining long enough for me to wash it.

I definitely have washed it before in cold weather and just about gone numb in my fingers... Worth it? Maybe.

Good morning (or evening depending on where you live), CL. For some reason I always like the way this car looks in the morning.

We had a couple weeks where temps fluctuated between 15 and 25 F. Many snow events, and most of it compacted into ice.

Was a little nervous going out in those conditions because my previous IS was a 2016 RWD with open dif and I had to resort to floor mats in a gently sloping parking lot last year in similar conditions just to get home with groceries.

The 2018 with Torsen differential plus the Michelin CrossClimate2 mostly turned the snow and ice into an excuse to have fun. The tires are "3 peak" severe snow and ice rated, but they aren't snow tires and they do especially well in the rain. I used to run the AS3+ in the winter.

Ended up doing a weekend roadtrip up the icy coast, because why not?

I feel like these tires were practically designed for Seattle's wet and mild winters.

Few days later it all had melted and I snapped a pic with this ultra white bro that, like me, just doesn't know how to mount a front plate!

Freak snow here in the ATL area! Seriously, my wife and I thought we were escaping the snow by moving from MO to GA, and... here we are.

I would take that amount of snow any day of the week!! I am so fed up with living up here and when I retire in 3 to 4 years, I will be renting a condo in somewhere warmer...I just cant deal with these winters. Was -15F with strong gust winds this morning....

Edit to add to show what it's like to live here...

^^ Even when dirty she's sexy!! There is an interesting reflection on both "side views" of the car coming out the body line, is that the parking line?

Yeah, I think it looks funny because of the shape of the doors.

My prior IS350 and current IS500. Should have not let my wife talk me into trading the 350. It was an awesome car. Next owner will be getting a gem, though they'll probably pay more used than I did new.

^^ You are killin' me man!! Since I can't post pics of my car, maybe I should post pics of "MY" wash day as a pay back

Seriously though, the Iridium is color that looks amazing especially with this wheel finish - The red interior sticks out nicely too
