Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum so I thought this would be a good place to start.

I just picked up this 2022 IS 300 AWD F Sport 1 in Cloudburst grey with circuit red interior a few days ago.

I’m hoping to keep it pretty stock but haven’t had much success with that in the past. Most of my cars end up lowered and I go through mags like napkins…

So far, I’ve blacked out the chrome window trim and tinted the chrome on the mirror along with the rear and side reflectors for a cleaner look. Also, tints.



My IS (right now)


Next is likely to be an intake but we’ll see…

Default 2022 Lexus IS300 FSport2 AWD
Just brought it home last night! Ordered it exactly how I wanted it, took 3 months to get. I absolutely love this car. It is so visually striking, so happy it's mine. Happy to join the IS community!

What I love with Lexus is that their design ages so well, I look at pics of older IS (2007 and such) and it still looks like a timeless design, as with the IS since the 2013 MY which is something that can't be said for all brands. Here is a pic of my 2022 IS 500 that I had posted in that section..

- PLM Single wall muffler delete axle back

Lots of great mods - the only one I am not a big fan are the wheels but I am an old dude and very conservative with the looks of my vehicles (lol)

Love this color, congrats! Might sound super weird, but I've noticed sometimes the "FSPORT" badge is on the back of the car on the trunk, and sometimes it's not. Wonder what the reasoning is

For model year 2022, Lexus stopped putting the F Sport badge on the rear. So, 2021 cars will have it, but no other model year of the refreshed IS.

^^ Not to mention that some owners will also de-badge their vehicle, fully or partially. But I agree with you arentz07, starting in 2022, that lower left corner "F Sport" badge was dropped.
