My suggestion is if you're getting the 250...never drive the 350.

HAHA, I'm chuckling because deep-down there's probably some truth to that in my case despite having owned a Venza 3.5L, a current RX, and driven various loaner ES 350s... yet somehow I have a feeling the direct injection on the 3.5L makes a big difference over the straight-line acceleration and experience I had with these other vehicles.

Its like when I bought the Jeep...I deliberately never drove the Hemi model.

Or just wait. Lexus is going to replace the 2.5 V6 with a turbo-ed 4 soon. Turbo'ed engines have better tuning results. Just saying :P
