With more aggressive styling and performance, the lively and enjoyable IS 250 and 350 sport sedans inject a dose of passion into Toyota's luxury brand.

I like how rare an IS is versus a 3 series. I did not realize that Lexus had the second oldest customer base to Cadillac. I would have though that distinction would have gone to Lincoln.

I agree. I also didn't know something else- "Lexus' desire for a more emotional product has its genesis in the appointment of Akio Toyoda as company president in early 2009. Toyoda is a member of the company's founding family and is known throughout the automotive world as a gearhead himself, having raced the Lexus LFA supercar at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring."
That's a bold move -- to put someone with a passion for driving in charge and I really, really like driving my Fsport. It's the 1st time in years that I look forward to driving and sometimes will just drive for the heck of it.
I've been reading the reviews for the Q50 and they've gone the other direction -- one mag wrote that there are so many nannies -- the car can drive itself. The author made it clear he considered that a dubious accomplishment.
