Lexus ML on the 3IS is 835 watts, 15-speaker 7.1ch sound system isn't all that?? Well, the stock system sounds pretty inferior from my test drive. I've had an ML system in my 2006 GS430 and it was pretty sweet. I don't even think that system was anywhere near 835 watts. Again, I'm done with car modding so enhancing a stock sound system isn't for me.
Yep again the ML isnt all that.spec all you want , numbers mean nada when it doesn't pump the sound like it should..but opinions are opinions and thats mine.

Yeah so like you said - if you dont want to switch tires, dont want to mod the car and basically want a stock vehicle with all you need then yeah the 3IS aint for you just yet- Lexus tends to do that kind of stuff with their cars so I feel your frustration. (sorta)
Happy hunting

I wouldn't be quite so confident on this. I used to have a AWD IS on AS tires (before I knew better with knowledge). The car definitely felt less stable than my IS RWD on winter tires in the snow.

Even thou I didn't have a problem with A/S, on AWD but had to be careful. For practice, I would just gun in a safe place and it easily slipped as the traction control and engine cut out with the car beeping; not as easily to the RWD on winters.
