Does the tow hook cover just pop off or do I need a plastic removal tool?

Thx.

It pops out I used a very small flat head and wrapped it with a terry cloth towel and gently popped it out with no problem .....while prying it out like that use something plastic to keep it pryed open until it pops out not hard at all

Do you happen to know the Grimmspeed part number on this? I am seeing a couple different ones online for the 2IS so trying to figure out which one applies to our 3IS...:

GRM 094026 - GrimmSpeed 094026 License Plate Relocation Kit Lexus ISF
GRM 094027 - GrimmSpeed 094027 License Plate Relocation Kit Lexus IS250/350

I am assuming its the GRM 094027 but want to double check...

The only difference is an extra nut or bigger nut...I forget. The ISF needs more clearance than the latter. everything else is the same. In fact, if you want to replace the nut with a different size just visit home depot or lowes (for more or less clearance). good luck.

Yeah then it must use more spacers probably ....on the 2014 is i only used 1 spacer and was supplied with two or three i think.....with no spacer the plate was too close to my bumper for my liking....a nice wind gust and it might hit the bumper but with the spacer its perfect

No matter where you put it ruins the look!

Not sure if it will look any better but can you use suction cups and attach it to inside of your windshield? Is that legal?

Not legal. I just saw an Fsport in my neighborhood with the plate on the bumper. Don't do it. The plate is too close to the logo -- ruins the flow and the charisma of the grill. Go without or go toe hook. If you've done the plate on the bumper -- remove it and do the above. Neither solution is perfect but better than breaking the grill in two parts imo.
