Question Is there a dealership in Los Angeles area which offers a decent test drive?

Hello, new to the forum. Was looking at getting into another German, but all the rave car mag reviews has me giving the 350 Sport some serious consideration.

I have been on a couple of test drives. Basically about five to ten minutes driving around the block, then on and right off the freeway. I know the salesman is pretty much stuck to the set route, probably under the penalty of firing, but still Pretty weak sauce for a test drive, although it left me interested enough to keep looking. Since handling is a big part of this package I'd really like to be able to feel it in the corners and curves, something more than a drive around the block.

So... Is there a dealership in the Los Angeles area which offers a decent test drive?

I suggest you drive out to Lexus of Riverside. They seem to be more amenable to longer test drives. Jim Falk also let us take a very long test drive (over 30 minutes), but it was in highly congested Beverly Hills, so you won't get much of an opportunity to test out the car's handling.

Similarly go to Lexus of Escondido -- they have a nice test drive onto Freeway and onto a nice rural set of roads with twists and curves -- ask for Marvin Graham.
