I pick the first option. Keep the 2GR-FSE but increase displacement to 3.8 liters. I agree with pete, it's the simplest, quickest and easiest solution.

Or install the supercharger from the Lotus Evora S/Toyota Mark X to compete with the S4/335i.

That would be the simplest, but it would also make an already inefficient engine (by today's standards) even less efficient.

I'd be fine with a turbo 4. The return of a 6MT would seal the deal.
