I used to do that and I accidentally turned the car off in mid-convo, and the phone continued the call as if I had been talking on it all along. So no need to turn off the car. I guess they just put that feature in there in case you wanted to make a private phone call when you have passengers in the car.

Pull the headrest completely forward. It will reset to its original position.

One thing that may seem a little funny, but I am now, after a few months of ownership realizing, is that the engine bay stays pretty clean. On my Tacoma, I was always having to clean it up, especially during the rainy season. On my IS, I only ever have to clean the very front of the underside of the hood and the front plastic cover. I love it!

Thats good to hear! I get tired of constantly wiping down the bay of my 370Z! It seems to attract dust every where within a few days and I don't even use a dust attracting cleaner!

If you press the lock button twice on the key fob, the headlights turn off. This is assuming you leave the headlights on auto mode.

Hmm.. I will have to try this out...

Always wondered why sometimes my headlights would go on, and sometimes it doesn't

why do i have to push to the gas tank cover to open? i can see the convenience aspect of it, but being slightly OCD i'd rather not touch the paint and leave a fingerprint behind.

Oops, read that wrong.

How about getting the headlights to turn on without turning on or/ switching the headlight button?

Is there anyway to do that with the key fob?

I don't think so. Only the DRLs come on at night when you unlock the car.

Found something new today.
Lots of snow outside, and as I was driving in heavy traffic the speed was approching 0.
Then the car started beeping, the yellow warning light came on and i got a message in the diplay that said "clean parking sonar" with a picture of the car seen from above and three snow crystals in the front and rear of the car.

The message dissapeared before i could get a picture of it with my phone

Pretty obious what it meant tho.

Don't know if this is the right thread, but behind the headrest of the backseat, the trunk or where the sub is, rattles when the music is on. Could there be something lose? something not tight enough under there? I usually listen to Rap and stuff, and the bass level is 2 below max (no ML). It's getting really annoying. Has anyone tried looking into it?
