Guys you dont have to actually have the car in motion to feel this....when your car is off...simply WOT and step a bit more and you can feel that there is a "click." So its there....

Aside from my Toyota Tundra, I haven't owned an automatic car since my 1982 Buick LeSabre (first car in high school)... So this "feature" is new to me.

This is actually my first slush box in a while. I do wish they would have put a DCT in the IS. My Diesel Jetta has a nicer transmission (6 speed DSG).

The click in the pedal is not only on automatic gearboxes.
Every car i have driven which has cruise control/speed limiter had it.
When you are driving with speed limiter activated and you go past the "click" it will temporary ignore the speed limit, allowing you to pass someone.
Maybe a different thing from what you guys are talking about...

Noticed that each audio source has it's own Sound Settings. So you can have different Bass, Mid, & Treble settings in FM, XM, USB, etc. and it keeps those settings for that specific source.

Also noticed that each audio source does have the same volume as the others, so if you switch from usb to radio the volume on the radio can be very loud!

One of the problems with this is that if you have lots of media files from different places, the audio gain in each can vary. You may need to turn up the volume to hear one album or song and turn it down for another. Say you have it turned up for one file because the gain is low and you switch to radio for awhile which may be at a lower volume. Switch back to media and you are now overwhelmed/startled at the volume difference.

I have the non-ML system and each source has it's own volume level (wherever you left it last time you used that source).
The one anomally is iHeartRadio, no matter where I leave the volume when return to it the volume is at "22".

I just received a 2014 IS250 AWD as a loaner for some service on my 2012 CT200h. I don't have nav on my car so I was wondering when (what year) did the mouse like controller become dynamically resistive? By that I mean when in nav the pointer is free to move through the screen but when in a screen with limited options, the controller settles in and resists movement to the next selection then clicks or settles in to that option. As an electrical engineer this blew my mind, I wish I had it on my CT.
