Road&Track: October 2013 - IS vs ATS vs 3 vs Q50 - WINNER?????

Agreed. Too conservative. So many mid-size cars have this roofline/side-window/C-pillar design. Subaru Legacy, Accord, even the new RLX (yawn) comes to mind and is already forgettable (but that's a whole different topic).

Just something that I wanted to add to the design. To me, 3IS is the clear winner. I was going to get either 335 M-Sport or 3-IS F-Sport, and I'm very picky on the exterior design. I compared both 335 and 3IS from front to back and in different angles, and I couldn't convince myself to get the 335i.
Looking at both cars from the side, I just think that the 3IS looks much better. Please note the red circle in both pictures - I really dislike so-called sporty cars with a rear window design like the 335i.

Road&Track: IS vs ATS vs 3 vs Q50
The Lexus IS wins yet another comparison.
The Q50 got hammered for the DAS (fortunately it's still only an option on the vehicle).

As soon as I sit in the IS F-sport, it just feels "special". Its not for everyone. There is an intimacy with the car like an E36 for example and something about it, call it "soul"..... Its great to see the press recognizing the GS and IS as the driver cars that they are. I honestly really look forward to driving them.

Good to see some options out there for people looking for a sporty sedan. Question, has the Q50s been in a comparo yet without the das, since that seems to be the most common complaint?
Either way, I still have the ATS in my sights as my next car,

according to the points awarded, even without the steering it would have finished tied with ATS or behind it at last place.
