Default Small inside the IS350 F-Sport?

Hey Guys,

I went and looked at the f sport at my local dealer today and when I got in the drivers seat I felt very enclosed in the car. The sales guy who was helping me said that the black headliners makes the inside feel a little smaller. I know the look of the car is sportier so the lines are tighter but just seems like it may be to small for me to get used to. Have any of you felt that the 350 interior gives a somewhat claustrophobic feeling?

Love the car and look but the only drawback i'm seeing is what i stated earlier about the inside.

Let me know what ya think,

Thanks!

You get used to it. The seats hug you as well giving you the coddled, racing cockpit feeling.

I went from a 2006 RX400h to a 2014 IS350 F-sport. I don't think that the IS350 is small at all. You get used to the seat hugging you quickly.

I have a normal body mass index and there is rarely anyone sitting in the passenger's seat...

That is probably the most beautiful thing about the new IS. Everything feels very snug and very driver centric like a cockpit inspired by the LFA (Johnny Lieberman even said, it feels like an LFA inside). I am 5'10", 175 lbs with a 31 inch waist and I felt extremely comfortable through and through.

That is absolutely the most amazing thing I loved about it and I hope Lexus keep the IS this way.

It is smaller than the current car I am driving. But it could be due to the way everything is wrapped around the driver. The center console along with everything else brought closer to the driver.

I drove a loaner ES350 and thought I was driving a boat. I prefer small cars and definitely the seats are a bonus.

The seats rock. Test drove a Benz C350, Caddy ATS 3.6 and a BMW 335i the Lexus IS seats were the best out of the group. Plus I like the way the back of the seat is formed so the back seat has more leg room.

FWIW, I'm 6'3" and the fit is pretty snug but comfortable. My only gripe is using the mouse while having a cup in the cup holder is incredibly awkward, but I think that's the case no matter how big you are.
