Angry Issues with Apps Suite Updating

The car says I need to do a mandatory update. When I do, it fails every time at 2%. This is my first time using the App Suite in my car (i just got it yesterday). And yes, I am enrolled in everything I should be.

At first I thought it was because I have iOS 7 beta on my phone but the dealer tried 6 different devices all having the same result. They said that they are going to do some research and get back to me.

Has anyone had this issue or know a fix?

I have the same issue, but it never even gets to a percentage. Bringing it in tomorrow.

Slightly off topic, apologies, but does iOS7 sort out the M.A.P issue preventing texts and e mails coming through? Greetings from a rainy London UK.

I had the same problem, try resetting the data, it worked for me. The dealer will only tell you to go register at lexusdriver.com, install the software, and setup bluetooth, blah blah blah.

Only slightly related: but is anybody actively using the App Suite? As it stands now it seems awfully worthless for anybody who already has a smartphone. If so, what are you using it for?

It's easier to browse artists and stations with Pandora in App suite rather than looking at your phone while driving and dangerous. And there are no ads in Pandora.
App suites have more stuff like gas prices, sports scores, stocks, Yelp. It's not exactly tablet experience but better than looking down at the phone.

It's in the Settings, it will also delete all your radio stations.

I don't have access to my car or manual to step you through right now.
I believe it fails updates at 2% because the initial update was corrupt.

Actually, I'll admit that the gas price thing is pretty darn cool.

Yep. You can even change the default to show Premium gas prices instead of default Regular.

Dealer said that Lexus knows of the problem but there is currently no fix. Guess I'll try resetting my data when I get the car back today.

I also deleted the app from my phone and turned off the car after I deleted all my personal settings. Might want to try all of the above too just to be sure.

It sounds like that ^ is what my dealer did. All my settings were lost, but the annoying mandatory update notice is now gone.
