I recommend the extended warranty based on personal experience. It got me out of having to pay for a $7000 transmission for my old RX400h

Doubt you will get it for less then 45k plus Fee's. LOL 39k OTD why on earth would they take off 13k off sticker to sell you the car... This isn't a FORD or GM product or maybe Infiniti does this I don't know but Lexus will never do that on a car that was release 6 weeks ago...

I'd be happy if they gave me $3k off. No hassle offer I got was $500 off. I'll just wait besides I'm hoping Lexus adds memory feature and cooled seats.

Based on feedback from others, you can find better deals in CA.

Mine was $48671 MSRP, $45171 sales price, ~$49800 OTD. I reached out to like 15 dealers across CA. Drove ~100 miles to pickup the car, and it was existing inventory.

I'm happy for you. For car of this price I would think that discount is reasonable. My spec was $50,300 but they wanted to give me $500 discount and they offered me very low quote on my trade. There is 2 Lexus dealer in Twin Cities and they are owned by the same owner so not much of competition to speak of. They stick it to you if they get a chance, at least that's my impression so far.

I got a very good price quote from CA dealer but shipping ruins the deal.

I'll just wait or shop other cars.

I think you can get it for $38 but you really need to play the card that you would have paid $48 if they'd update the engine and was an ALL NEW IS. Since they want to cut corners you want to save as well hence your offer

Lol You do understand a dealership pays a certain amount for the car 10k off sticker would involve them loosing a ton of money to move the car..... It's not distressed merchandise ..... And at the end of the day they are a business who needs to pay the light bill and employees I have been in the car business 10 years when I buy a car (like I just did) a fair deal IS letting them make a little money not a ton I never pay Msrp but I don't make offers under invoice letting a dealership make $800-$1500 there is nothing wrong with that!!!!

This guy is crazy no way you're getting $10k off an IS. It's a new model, demand is high, price is not going to be very negotiable. I would expect around $500 discount, and that will probably be contingent on you financing with them.
