MSRP: $48,205, what should I expect to pay?
Good afternoon, I am planning to sell my G35 Coupe and getting the new IS350. Now, before I go haggle with them, how much should I try to get it for? Think I can get it down to 39k out the door?
Also, how is the IS350 reliability wise? Do you recommend the extended Warranty? I purchased the extended warranty for my G35 and it more than paid for itself in the 1st year it kicked it. The G35 has some of the crappiest parts! They wear down even if you don't drive it.
Anyways, the options I chose are listed below. However, instead of the red seats, I prefer the black leather. Is that possible?
Thanks for looking.

I don't see $39k out the door happening that would mean you would have to buy the car for about $35-$36k tax and lic is roughly 10% depending on where you live I bought my car from my friend at Lexus ( known and worked with him 8 years ) and there is roughly $5k difference between invoice and sticker and I don't think any dealers are selling these cars under invoice yet. I mean that would be an awesome deal if u could pull it off but just giving u a lil of the info I know on these cars....... I'm a sales manager for a Toyota dealership so don't have the exact numbers for u but good luck..... I got my 350 f sport 2 weeks ago absolutely love the car

Since the car is brand new and some markets it is extremely hard to get right now. Not sure you are going to get much off the sticker at all. Some are getting 500 and 1000 off the sticker. Had to order mine and couldn't get them to budge off the sticker. Got 2 years service, tinted windows and all weather mats thrown into the deal at no cost.
In the Houston market the IS350 is sold out order only and the dealer allotments are already spoken for currently. Had to put money down on the last white IS350 Fsport my dealer can get until December. Won't be in until Oct/Nov.

I'll hit the dealership tomorrow to see if I really need the F-sport package.

13K off MSRP? Impossible. That would be WAY below dealer cost/invoice. Depending on where you are they average 1K off MSRP with some lucky people getting a few G's off. And as far as reliability wise? Its a Toyota. One of the most reliable cars on the market.
From 48k to 35K

I thought about waiting till December To Remember, but I just had to have the 3IS immediately lol. Subsequently, I only got $1800 off MSRP. No regrets though. I LOVE this car. Who knew driving could be so much fun?!

Well I don't know if this helps or not but my dad wrote a check for $40,000 out the door for my (then) new relatively bare bones 2009 IS350 (no nav, premium package only). My dad had also purchased a (then) new 2007 LS460 outright in cash a couple of years prior for $65k or $70k (I don't remember) so he was in terrific standing with this dealership
One would think that cash buyers would get the best deals on cars, and $40k got me a bare bones brand new IS350 4 years ago. I doubt you'd get a relatively loaded new IS350 for $39k now given that fact.
