My understanding (I could me wrong here) is that customer orders are reviewed by Lexus and confirmed in their system on the 20th of each month. So, for example, all orders from August 21 through September 20th are officialy processed and accepted at the "factory" on September 20th.
If it's not confirmed and won't impact delivery date I'm going to remove my factory paint protection film.

All orders should get confirmed on the 20th unless Lexus kicks it back due to a conflict in configuration. My salesman had called me to tell me that in May. That is why I ordered then, so we could get squeezed in under the deadline.

So based on limited feedback.
Confirmed: 20th of each month (although my sales guys said mine was confirmed week after 9/24 order)
Confirmed to Build: 2 - 3.5 months
Build to Shipped: 8 days
Shipped to Port: 2 weeks (West coast) - 4 weeks (East coast) which port MN comes in through?

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll talk to my sales guy today about this and see if I can remove the factory paint protection film.
