Just picked up my 2015 last week...obviously haven't tried the seat warmers yet. Are they that bad? Is it specific to 2015 all IS models? I.e. the 2014's were good and they changed something for 2015? (This is my first Lexus so I don't have anything to compare it to.)

it was on the fsport model. they are fixed for 2015

Just because it's normal body temperature doesn't mean it won't feel warm. How do you feel when it is 38 Celsius outside?? I don't think you would want it much warmer than that.

good point, however that is core/filiment temp. with the nulux/injections it doesnt disapate and seats dont get warm. Lexus has this documented but have not come up with a fix other than to change it on 2015 :-(

Absolutely correct! As far as the other comments from others regarding body temperature being sufficient"........... It cannot overcome -20 . You would have more warmth if you peed on your seat. The fact that (as some have posted) there is a fix for 2015, what is being offered for 2014 owners?

Not sure where you are in Canada (Vancouver)? Not even sure if you have experienced a winter with your vehicle. Yes, +38 Celsius is hot, but the seats can never achieve that temperature because the heat doesn't penetrate through the Nuluxe material. Try your seat Warmers when the true Canadian Winter arrives and you will understand.

Yes, the 2014 F sport seat warmers are weak. The heater unit cannot provide heat transfer sufficient to warm the seats to the engineering specification. I am curious "Larry 13"' where did you get the information that the issue is fixed for 2015? Was this direct from Lexus or a dealer sales rep? If you have information in printed format please share with the rest of us.
