when I close the air recycling in my IS F sport there still a lot of air and smells coming from outside.

Is it normal ? anyone have the same problem?

i dont think "cabin only" circulation stops outside air completely. I'm sure its reduced to let 10% in. With 100% of the outside air NOT being able to get in your cabin you would run the chance of CO2 poisoning with enough time. Not so good as a driving condition...

so to answer your question it is normal for outside air to come in on the "cabin only" setting. As far as filtering smells...I'm not familiar enough with the filtration system. good luck =)

Not sure but all my cars seems to filter out the outside smell when in cabin circulation mode.

Not sure what our car comes with but carbon filter should do a better job at filtering smells.
