VBX, from some of the posts I've seen from you looks like you're not having a good experience with your new IS, just sayin.... did you not notice the differences on the wheel when you took it home from the dealer?

No, I wasn't paying attention to the steering wheel when I was at the dealership.

I was testing out my AC today and at a stoplight, I just stared at the steering wheel and remembered seeing an F-sport badge on a few videos I watched.

Would the stitch just be the color that matches whatever color it is? I would think it still would have the stitch.

How do you see the seats? This is pretty bad QC on Lexus part. I wonder what other things that you may not be able to see are done like this. I wonder if my F-Sport will come with memory feature and cooled seats!

LOL, I wouldn't mind if my "Fsport" came with memory, cooled leather seats, and all the luxury options not available on the Fsports.

My seats are definitely the single stitched f-sports. The real leather seats have double stitched seats.

Wow!

In all my years around Lexus I have never seen such an assembly screwup. On the Jeep forums for a while they were shipping Summit models with nonmatching Overland wood steering wheels (the summit has grey stained wood, the Overland has red stained wood...so pretty obvious)...but thats Chrysler...from Lexus that is really surprising...

Let us know what the dealer says...

Can we get confirmation on what the F Sport mats are 'supposed to' look like!?

Yeah, wrong steering wheel. Can anyone post pics of their steering wheel? Looks like the buttons on the wheel are different between models.

Talk of a refund is silly, they will replace the wheel with the proper wheel.

Hmm. Looks like this isn't an isolated incident. Very sloppy Lexus.

So, come Monday, I'll update everyone on the floor mats and steering wheel. Maybe they can loan me the LFA..... lol

Yeah but it may have bunch of IS parts in it! I'm sure dealer will get you straight. Good luck!

Does someone have an answer to this:

Aside from red stitching, what else is different with the F Sport floor mats?

Instead of "Lexus IS" do they say "F Sport"?
