AWD is a must - is it worth getting the 350?

Yes, they work surprisingly well on the new IS, compared to a 2011 IS I test drove and I couldn't feel them at all. They would be awesome in summer, but worth giving up the F-Sport trim? Why can't I get both Lexus?!

So way I think of it, If you decide to pick F-Sport than you might as go for 350 since 250 is not as good in performance wise. If you go with 350 than you might as go for the RWD since AWD does not have 8 speed direct-sport shift, from IS F, with G-Force AI nor VGRS w/ Power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel.
Reason I say 250 AWD Luxury is because I believe they don't have the 255/35/18 tires in the back like the F-Sport and should be much better for Winter driving.
Unfortunately for us Lexus pretty much made sure that you can't get what you want with any of their trims in 3IS!
For me I decided to go with IS350 F Sport RWD and 2nd set of rims for winter tires. If I could have gotten digital gauge with Luxury I may have gone with the Luxury model!

The price difference between 250 and 350 is much smaller now than the 2IS, I would go for the 350. Also, if you are getting AWD, go for the Luxury model. I don't think the F-sport is worth it without the 8-speed, VGRS, leather, ventilated seats, memory seats, auto-dimming mirrors, auto wipers, blind spot monitor, etc...
