Yeah I get the error but I got the cigarette adapter part and used the USB just for my iPod.

Music from Pandora that is streaming through BT will stop playing randomly. After a while of doing this, my passenger noticed that this coincides with the network switching from LTE to 4G and vice versa. I have an iPhone 5S on AT&T. It's so annoying when I'm jamming out and belting the lyrics, then the music just stops out of nowhere!! And also a PITA to have to press play every now and then. Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if this is an issue with my iPhone or my car.

It's the car, I have the same exact issue.
Took my car into service for well over 5 times with no success, even having updated the OS on the vehicle twice. 8300, 8400, to 8500.
To my understanding, the 8600 is now live.

The only way Pandora would work, is to remove the Light'n cable, connect it back, select the source, then press play.
It doesn't automatically play for me.

As far as the LTE and 4G is concerned, I have unlimited data with ATT and the error occurs 99% of the time when I get a text message or an email update.
Somehow it is interrupted and disrupts the stream.

I have unlimited data with AT&T as well. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Hmm...Pandora still connects when I select BT from the media menu, even when my phone is connected via lightning cable. But if I select Pandora from the media menu, it will give me a tether error.

BT music from my iPhone 5 will stop after 5 mins and I have to press play on the phone to restart. Will then stop again after another 5 mins. Infuriating! Apart from the consistency of every 5 mins I have no idea why it keeps happening.

There is now a software update which I'm having done on Monday. Having said that, I really don't know how much the software might vary from region to region.

I'm totally aware of your situation and I have been living with that problem since I drove off the lot.

As for the software, do you know what version your vehicle is using?

I honestly think the software has nothing to do with the Bluetooth signals, from all the testing, there seems to be something else involved, intermittent perhaps.

Same problem occurs when I use the iPad bluetooth, error problems, tethering error.

I had the same issue with my iPhone 5 then get the nav update and it works good now. Just my situation.

Drove home today with new car, used my iphone 5 connected through BT and had no issues. Hopefully a problem won't come up later.
